Truck Driver (G Class)

Education/Training/Certifications
- Must have a G-Class Licence and a clean driver’s abstract
- High School diploma and post-secondary education an asset
- Cellular phone with data plan is an asset
Position Requirements
- Driver will be required to pickup a 26′ straight truck from a central location outside of Peterborough
- Driver will be required to drive 400-series highways in dense traffic while navigating through the GTA
- Driver will be required to use their cellular phone and a scanner device to track parcels coming on and off of the truck
- Driver will be required to lift and drag often heavy freight from the front of the truck to the back and visa versa
- Driver will need to communicate with dispatch at regular intervals and be able to adapt to sometimes challenging circumstances
Type of Job: Full Time, Part-Time, Permanent Full-Time, Permanent Part-Time,
Hourly Wage/Salary: $18.25 per hour (more for experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
